Having staff share car journeys to work has many advantages for both staff and your company in terms of reducing costs, stress levels and environmental impact.

You can either set up your own carpool scheme, promoting the benefits to staff and providing the information and ride matching service to get people started, or you can direct staff to the increasing number of online booking and administration carpool services that are available. You could always do both, encourage staff to car share with a work colleague first but if there is no-one with a similar route to work, an on-line service may be the answer.
